DAVID THOMAS

LEAD PASTOR

Pastor David has been serving in the church for many years, faithfully stepping into nearly every area of ministry along the way. From AV and worship to children’s and youth ministry, discipleship, and local and world missions, Pastor David has always been willing to serve wherever he was needed. These years of serving have shaped his heart for people and his passion for ministry. Through much study, he earned his Exhorter’s License in 2019, Ordained Minister’s License in 2021, and was licensed as an Ordained Bishop in 2025. Today, Pastor David serves as Lead Pastor of Anchor Point.


Outside of ministry, Pastor David is bi-vocational and works as a Data Engineer. He and his wife, Shannon, have been married since 2004 and are raising their four children alongside a lively collection of pets. As a family, they enjoy traveling and making the most of the time they have together—usually with plenty of laughter along the way.

SHANNON THOMAS

ASSISTANT PASTOR/WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

Pastor Shannon has served in a variety of ministry roles, from nursery director to young adults leader. Her experience includes choir, praise dance, church administration, communications, local and world missions, organizing and leading church events, and hospitality. She earned her Exhorter’s License in 2021 and Ordained Minister’s License in 2022. Today, she serves the Anchor Point family as Children & Youth Ministry Coordinator and Women’s Ministry Leader.


Outside of ministry, Shannon is a travel agent and homeschools their four children. She and her husband, David, have been married since 2004 and enjoy spending time together as a family, with plenty of laughter along the way.

CAROL JOLLEY

WORSHIP DIRECTOR

Carol has been a faithful part of the Anchor Point family alongside her husband, David, since 2010. She began using her musical gifts as part of the worship team in 2011 and has served as our Worship Director since 2022. While singing in front of people wasn’t always something she felt comfortable with, God continued to work on her heart and draw her into the calling He had placed on her life. Today, Carol leads our worship team with passion, humility, and a desire to help others encounter God through worship.

GERRY GRISWALD

FINANCE/AV TEAM

Gerry is a longtime and invaluable part of the Anchor Point family. Having been part of this congregation for a number of decades, he knows the church inside and out, so much so that we like to say “he came with the building.” Gerry serves faithfully in finances and leads our AV team, but you’ll also find him wherever he’s needed, always ready to lend a hand. If you have a question about Anchor Point, there’s a very good chance Gerry knows the answer. His years of faithfulness, knowledge, and willingness to serve make him an important part of who we are.
